Why I built this

I'm Muddaser Altaf, and I made Puppy Size Calculator. I've owned a dog myself, and like most owners I wanted to know how big a puppy would get. The calculators I found online mostly gave one confident number with no explanation of where it came from.

So I built a tool that shows its working. The main calculator is based on published research: the growth study by Salt et al. (2017) and the open dataset the University of Liverpool released with it. The formula, the curve tables, the test results on held-back data, and the known limitations are all published on the methodology and validation pages, so anyone can check them.

What I am not

I am not a veterinarian, and nothing on this site is veterinary advice. The calculator gives a broad estimate, not a promise. If a puppy is losing weight, not eating, or seems unwell, please contact a licensed veterinarian.

How I handle mistakes
