Our goal is to help dog owners understand growth estimates without hiding uncertainty. We publish educational tools and articles, not diagnoses, prescriptions, or individualized veterinary advice.

Who is responsible

Content is published under the Puppy Size Calculator Editorial Team. We do not attach invented credentials or imply that an article was medically reviewed when no documented review occurred. If a qualified reviewer contributes in the future, we will identify the person, relevant credentials, review date, and scope of review.

Source standards

We prioritize peer-reviewed studies, veterinary schools, public agencies, and official breed organizations. Links should point to the specific paper, standard, or guidance—not merely an organization's home page. Commercial sources may explain a product but are not treated as independent evidence of health or safety.

How we handle estimates

• We describe calculator output as a range, not a promise.
• We publish the formula, curve assumptions, and uncertainty bands on the methodology page.
• We distinguish published research from choices made by our own model.
• We identify factors the calculator cannot know, including ancestry, health, nutrition, and measurement error.

Commerce and conflicts

Educational content is not ranked in exchange for payment. Any future affiliate relationship, sponsorship, free product, or other material connection will be disclosed clearly near the relevant recommendation. Advertising does not buy editorial approval.

Updates and corrections

We use an updated date only when a page has materially changed. Typographical changes alone do not justify a fresh date. When a factual error could affect a reader's decision, we correct it promptly and preserve a clear explanation where useful.
